For their most recent music building project, The Boston Conservatory purchased a former warehouse site that is near Fenway Park, across the street from a commuter rail and immediately adjacent to a major interstate highway and bus route. This busy, loud, non-academic site was transformed into an exceptional instructional and rehearsal facility while retaining one-half of the site for future development. We will discuss the acoustical design and construction sequencing that allowed the entire project to come together, before touring the spaces to see the finished outcome.
