Please join us to celebrate the release of an exciting new publication in the world of architectural acoustics. The author, Leo Beranek, will be on hand to discuss the book and sign copies. Leo will also be previewing two papers he will be presenting at ASA Montreal in June 2013.
Acoustics: Sound Fields and Transducers:
Leo’s new book builds on the 1954 Acoustics classic by incorporating recent developments, practical formulas, and methods for effective simulation. A broad range of acoustics fundamentals will be discussed as gathered by Leo’s lifetime of experience as a leader in the field. In addition, there will be a preview of two papers Leo will be presenting at the Acoustics Society of America spring meeting in Montreal this June. The topics of these papers range from reverberation time equations and concert hall design considerations.
